Please join us at the next Powell's North reading; the reading will feature comic book artist Jeffrey Brown and readings by Lane Williams and Joanna Kenyon.

Jeffrey Brown received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. A recipient of the 2003 Ignatz Award, his books include Clumsy, Unlikely, AEIOU, Be A Man, Bighead, I Am Going To Be Small, Minisulk, and Every Girl is the End of the World For Me. Most recently released or forthcoming are Feeble Attempts and Cat Getting Out Of A Bag And Other Observations (2007). His work has appeared in a variety of venues and publications such as McSweeney's, Time, The Chicago Reader and Time. A native of Grand Rapids Michigan, Brown currently lives in Chicago.
