Please join us at the next Powell's North reading on Thursday, November 16, at 7:00 p.m.; the reading will be a special all-student feature billed as Wild Minds & Wild Finds: Nature Writing in Chicago. In the spirit of bringing you the best in words from established and emerging writers, Powell's brings you the work of Jill Riddell's graduate writing seminar students.

Each month Powells North pairs an established poet, fiction, or non-fiction writer from around the nation with one or two emerging writers for a reading that exposes the community to a dynamic variety of work from writers at different stages in their career. Also, the readings hope to inspire a dialogue between writers and their audience, as well as establish an environment open to all genres, styles, and experiments in writing.

Powells North is a project of The Writing Program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Powells North Bookstore.
